Dr. Darrell Ginsberg BSc, MSc, MD, CCFP, Fellow – Hospitalist Medicine
Dr. Darrell Ginsberg is an acute care hospitalist and family physician. After completing his BSc in Biology at Western University Dr. Ginsberg worked as an associate scientist with Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals before moving to Israel where he completed his MSc in Medical Science and Sleep Biology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology while working as an Information Developer at Intel Corporation.
He then worked with the FAA and American Airlines on a national study focusing on advanced pilot health. After completion of medical school at Queen’s University, Dr. Ginsberg completed his family medicine training at the University of Toronto where he won the Charles E. Snelling M.D. Paediatric Award for outstanding ability in Paedicatrics before completing a one year fellowship in hospital medicine at University Health Network. He went on to be a staff physician and acute care hospitalist at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital where he is involved in research, residency education, bedside procedures and quality improvement.
He is an Assistant Clinical Professor (adjunct) with McMaster University. In his spare time he focuses on enjoying time with his 3 young children, the Raptors and exercise (in that order).
